What is the weather like in October in Istanbul?


Daytime temperatures still reach a very pleasant high of 26°C, and fall to around 13°C in the evenings. The average daily temperature in October is 20°C. The temperate in autumn make the city one of the most ideal places to visit during this season, and you may be able to score slightly cheaper airfare.




How does the transport from the SABIHA GOCKEN AIRPORT to the Center work?


TAXI Without traffic the Taxi takes about 50 minutes to get to the Taksim Square. Depending on the traffic it can take much longer. Normal costs without traffic are about 125 TL. HAVABUS AIRPORT SHUTTLE This is the most straightforward route. Outside the airport, find the Havabus heading for Taksim. These buses operate daily between 04:00 and 01:00. The current pick-up and drop-off point is the Gezi Park metro exit/entrance, just past Taksim Square. The ride costs 18 TL per person (luggage included) and takes approximately 90 minutes, depending on traffic. You can get off at a few places, but most tourists will want to get off at Beşiktaş or Taksim, depending on your destination. Check out the timetables: http://havabus.com/

Do I get the money back if I already bought the Ticket and can't attend the Event anymore?


No, once the Tickets are bought they are non-refundable.




How does the transport from the ISTANBUL AIRPORT to the Center work?


TAXI Without traffic the Taxi takes about 45 minutes to get to the Taksim Squar. Depending on the traffic it can take much longer. Normal costs without traffic are about 105 TL. HAVAIST AIRPORT SHUTTLE (about 100 Minutes / 18 TRL) The new airport shuttle is operating several bus lines between the new Istanbul airport and spots all over Istanbul. To reach Taksim you take the line IST 19: New Istanbul Airport – Beşiktaş – Taksim and you get off at the last stop, in front of the Point Hotel, close to Taksim Square. From there you can either walk to your hotel, take a taxi or the metro. The fare for the bus lines is 18 TL per person, one way, luggage included. Trips take on average 100 minutes, more during rush hour. Luckily the buses have TV-movie-series services, WiFi, and USB charging units to make the trip a bit more enjoyable. How to get to Istanbul?


There are two International Airports in Istanbul: - Istanbul Airport (IST) / European Side, 40 km to Taksim - Sabiha Gokcen (SAW) / Asian Side The Istanbul Airport is closer and easier to get to the center. But sometimes the flights are cheaper to the Sabiha Gokkcen Airport.
